Parking, storage, or keeping, other than in a fully enclosed garage, of any non-operable motor vehicle is prohibited on any residential zoned lot, parcel, or tract of land or part thereof, situated within the zoning jurisdiction of the City of Papillion; provided, however, that automobiles that are inoperable by reasons of repair work being done thereon may be parked on the residential lot of the owner of said automobile within the Papillion zoning jurisdiction under certain conditions. It shall be the duty of every owner of real estate in the municipality to cut and clear such real estate, together with 1/2 of the streets and alleys abutting thereon, of all weeds or other growth of rank vegetation. Such weeds and other growth of rank vegetation shall be cut so as not to extend more than 12 inches above the ground.

The owner or occupant of any lot, piece, or parcel of ground abutting or adjacent to any sidewalk over which there extends the branches of trees shall at all times keep the branches, limbs, and/or foliage thereof trimmed to the height of at least eight feet above the surface of said walk. Pool Fences

Every outdoor swimming pool or family pool shall be completely surrounded by a fence or wall not less than six feet in height, which shall be constructed as to not have openings, holes, or gaps larger than four" in any dimension except for doors and gates. All gate and door openings through such enclosure shall be equipped with a self-closing and self-latching device for keeping the gate or door securely closed at all times when not in actual use. Except as permitted in division D of the section, containers and bags may not be located in the front yard or within any required front yard setback of residential lots, except for temporary placement curbside, not more than 24 hours before pickup. Two tightly closed, impermeable garbage containers may be kept in the front yard within three feet of the exterior wall of the home; All owners or occupants shall have the contents of all garbage containers removed from the premises at their own cost at least once per week, and it shall be unlawful to fail to do so.
