Papillion is a great place to live, work and play. In fact, our city has been ranked as high as #2 among small cities in Money Magazine’s Best Places to Live. That recognition is a reflection of the high quality of life that our city, school district and business community strive to achieve for our residents. You will find that the many facets of our community are filled with great people who make Papillion a great place.
I encourage you to explore this website to learn more about all that our city has to offer. Our city is filled with great parks and trails, whether you like hiking and biking or are looking for a playground to enjoy with the family. In addition to the parks in your neighborhood, Halleck Park, Walnut Creek Lake & Recreation Area and Prairie Queen Recreation Area are each amazing outdoor spaces.
Speaking of outdoor spaces, make sure to catch one of the many free and ticketed events at the SumTur Amphitheater, cool off at Papio Bay Aquatic Center, or hit the links at one of our two 18-hole championship golf courses.
If you are a resident, be sure to stop by the Sump Memorial Library, Papillion’s public library, to receive your library card. The library is filled with resources for education, enrichment and entertainment for both children and adults.
Welcome to the Papillion community! If you have any questions about our community or city services, feel free to call the Mayor’s Hotline at 402-827-1111.
